Re: NEW OPTION: 'UHD Friendly' Firmware Downgrade / Cross-Flash Using Official (Modified) ASUS Flasher for ASUS & LG Dri

Hi, I just ordered an Asus BW-16D1HT and plan to flash it to MK 3.10. Before that I'd like to make a backup though, in case I have a warranty case or something. All threads I found on firmware backups here seem to be outdated and locked. Or maybe my search was to generic... Anyway, what would be th...

Re: Hash Check Errors with Apocalypse Now The Final Cut

It still doesn’t work. Is the other 4K disc in this set also a bd100? Because it can be read just fine. Look like there are 2 bd 100s not sure what's what but if the disk is above 66 GB in makeMkvs disk info it is a triple layer bd 100 https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Apocalypse-Now-4K-Blu-ray/241662/

Just to help me understand, why was it a good idea for me to flash a firmware for a drive other than the one I have?

Re: Asus BW-16D1HT Firmware

I bought an Asus BW-16D1HT in an enclosure and preflashed to 3.10MK due to some issues with another drive that I flashed myself. At first it worked great, but now it’s acting pretty finicky and I don’t know if it’s the drive, the enclosure, or something else. I’ve had it fail on a 4K rip and then w...

Re: I'm sorry, I can't figure out this Libredrive thing.

So I'm looking to do this similar action with my old bc-b1st factory id b. Manufacturing date is May 2012. Sounds like I'm SOL to use this thing for ripping? I used to use it a few years ago to rip, but as I circle back to things it looks like the drive is no longer useful in any way. True? Untrue?...
